Collect data from custodians anywhere, anytime and from virtually any device with a few mouse clicks. Advantage Plus brings the power of the Internet to ESI collection with a full range of collection agents that facilitate collecting ESI remotely from PCs, Macs, mobile devices and the cloud. Agents are deployed via email, SMS, or through the Advantage Plus interface, depending on the type of collection.
Simply choose parameters like date range, keywords or phrases, or data type, enter the custodian’s email address, log in credentials (web mail or cloud) or mobile number and Advantage Plus takes care of the rest. Agents deploy, search and collect the data ,and upload it to the Advantage Plus processing engine where advanced analytics, de-duplication and clustering happen on the fly, so you get pre-cleaned data right in the Advantage Plus Review Tool. Its really that simple.
Nomadic User Agent (NUA)
Laptop users present a particular problem in eDiscovery. When a user is in the field, or works remotely, accessing data stored locally on their portable device may prove difficult without physical access to the system. The NUA allows IT departments, in-house or outside council, or an admin, to quickly and easily preserve or retrieve ESI from Nomadic users. By logging into a simple web interface and setting up predefined search terms and date ranges, the NUA is configured and emailed to the custodian. All files and email on the custodian’s system are searched in a forensically sound manner (metadata remains intact) and the data is stored in an encrypted, tamper-proof container on the user’s laptop. The data can then be sent directly to the GDF Online Review Tool, stored on the user’s system or on a storage server. The NUA runs in the background and is completely invisible to the user. The dashboard lets you see collection progress and identify custodians who have not begun their collection. Customized reports build a defendable process while providing insight into the collection.
Mobile Device Agent (MDA)
Data is everywhere, on iPhones, BlackBerrys, iPads and Tablets. Simply use the dashboard to configure predefined search terms and date ranges and email a link to the agent. It will search for BlackBerry, Android and iPhone/iPad backups on the user’s system, or if executed on the device, it will search the device for potential ESI. Identified ESI is sent to the GDF Online Review Tool and the MDA data is tracked in the dashboard for a defensible collection.
Cloud Collection Agent (CCA)
So you thought that ESI collection couldn’t get more complex, then the friendly, puffy, white cloud started storing your custodian’s data. The CCA was designed as a Software as a Service (SAS) application. Using the GDF Online Review Tool dashboard, an operator can collect potential ESI from many common “cloud-based” applications. Support for webmail applications, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL and hosted exchange, are easy to setup and collect. Popular social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn are also fully supported. Even popular DRM, such as Salesforce, can be collected and added directly into the GDF Online Review Tool. Simply define users and account information in the dashboard and provide credentials, and the potential ESI is collected. The collection status and results are all tracked in the dashboard for defensibility and reporting.
